Milk performance of dairy cows supplemented with a combination of slow-release nitrogen and exogenous fibrolytic enzyme

چکیده

The purpose of this on-farm trial was to evaluate the impact supplementing slow-release nitrogen (SRN; min. 40% N) and exogenous fibrolytic enzyme (EFE; cellulase, xylanase, glucanase, mannanase xylanase-potentiating factor) products on milk yield composition in dairy cows. Twelve early-to-midlactating crossbred cows were divided into 2 groups with comparable production. Animals fed a total mixed ration comprising green maize, wheat straw concentrate mixture. Group T1 supplemented urea at 80 g/animal/d, whereas that T2 received novel combination cellulo-polymer-coated SRN g EFE 4 g/animal/d for period 20 days. Results showed no difference (13.8 vs. 15.1 kg/d; P=0.559) between groups; however, fat (3.49 3.87%) solid not (7.92 8.35%) levels higher (P<0.05) group than T1. Furthermore, applying 2-axis payment system, demonstrated return investment 8.3:1. It was, therefore, concluded carries practical worth enhance composition, thereby boosting economic gain farming under Indian context.

Performance of Lactating Dairy Cows Fed Yeast and Fibrolytic Enzymes

We evaluated the effect of supplementing typical dairy diets with yeast and fibrolytic enzymes on dairy cow performance. Twentyfour Holstein cows were used to evaluate the effects of yeast (Procreatin-7, a live culture of Saccharomyces cerevisiae) and various amounts of FP800 (a fibrolytic enzyme mixture) on lactation performance. Treatments were arranged in a 4 × 2 factorial design consisting ...

In vitro evaluation of total mixed ration supplemented with exogenous fibrolytic enzymes for crossbred cows

AIM The study was conducted to evaluate the levels of exogenous fibrolytic enzymes (EFE) on in vitro digestibilities of dry matter (DM) and organic matter (OM), total gas production (TGP), metabolizable energy (ME) content, and microbial biomass production (MBP). MATERIALS AND METHODS The total mixed ration (TMR) was prepared using 30% each of sorghum hay and groundnut straw and 40% compound ...

Milk performance of dairy cows supplemented with rapeseed oil, peanut oil and sunflower seed oil

The objective of the study was to investigate the effects of supplementing different plant oils to the basal diet on milk yield and milk composition in mid-lactating dairy cows. Forty Chinese Holstein dairy cows averaging 120 days in milk (DIM) at the start of the experiment (body weight = 580 ± 18.2 kg; milk yield = 33.0 ± 2.00 kg/day) were used in a completely randomized block design. The ani...

the effects of high non fibrous carbohydrates diet on milk production, inflammation and molecular mechanism of innate immunity in lactating dairy cows

Effect of an exogenous fibrolytic enzyme on the performance of dairy cows consuming a diet with a high proportion of bermudagrass silage

We previously reported that milk production by dairy cows was increased by adding specific xylanase-rich (XYL) and xylanase-cellulase enzymes to corn silage-based diets containing 0 or 10% bermudagrass silage. This study examined effects of adding XYL on the intake and performance of lactating dairy cows consuming a totally mixed ration (TMR) formulated with a greater proportion of bermudagrass...
